Jurgen Klopp thinks it is unlikely that Premier League leaders will add to their squad in the January transfer window.

Klopp has already brought in Takumi Minamino from Red Bull Salzburg as he looks to keep momentum in the league going.

However, further signings could be a bit trickier at Liverpool, according to the German manager.

Klopp told reporters on Wednesday: “I know the transfer window is open! It’s always tricky. But we probably will not be too busy. We will see what happens but it isn’t likely.”

Liverpool face Sheffield United on Thursday night with the Reds looking to maintain their 13 point lead over nearest challengers Leicester City.

On Chris Wilder, Klopp added: “When Chris Wilder got manager of year I thought Pep Guardiola won four trophies, so why? I didn’t see a lot of Championships last season. But now I see why (the award was given).”

On the challenge of facing Wilder’s Blades, Klopp continued: “Sheffield United have an interesting gameplan.”
