A move to Manchester United “wouldn’t make sense” for Justin Kluivert, despite being recently linked with the Premier League club.
Kluivert has emerged at Ajax in his famous footballing father Patrick’s footsteps.
The 18-year-old has scored six goals in 21 games this season, after netting two times in 20 appearances last season.
The striker is slowly but surely establishing himself in the Eredivisie, starting 14 of 21 league games this campaign.
United are reportedly eyeing a £10million move for the Dutchman, but Kluivert himself has poured cold water on the speculation.
“I have heard the rumours but I haven’t spoken to Mourinho,” Kluivert told Dutch newspaper Algemeen Dagblad.
“A move to Manchester United wouldn’t make sense, for now.”
