West Ham recovered from back to back defeats against Burnley to close in on fourth-placed Chelsea.
Burnley took the lead in the 19th minute from the penalty spot. They were awarded the spot-kick as Chris Wood was brought down by Tomas Soucek. The striker took it himself and he made no mistake as he fired the ball into the bottom corner.
It did not take West Ham long to recover though as they equalised two minutes later. Michail Antonio evaded Ben Mee and James Tarkowski to head in Vladimir Coufal’s cross.
The Hammers completed their comeback in the 29th minute. Said Benrahma sent in a cross towards the back post from the left flank. Antonio was unmarked as he tapped home from close range to make it 2-1.
Jay Rodriguez missed a great chance to equalise but West Ham continued to impress as they earned all three points. They are now just three points behind Chelsea with four games to go.
