Manchester United are reportedly in contact with Cristiano Ronaldo with a view to re-signing him in next summer’s transfer window.
The 35-year-old’s Juventus deal expires in June 2022 with the Italian giants thought to be keen to offload him in the summer to reduce the wage bill.
Paris Saint-Germain have been heavily linked with Ronaldo, but according to FOX America journalist/professional wind-up merchant Christian Martin, United are in talks with the Portugal legend over a return to Old Trafford.
“Our sources in Manchester and Porto confirm that Manchester United tempted Cristiano Ronaldo with a return to the club for next season. The Portuguese star is considering it. Juventus will negotiate a deal it if Ronaldo asks for it,” Martin posted on Twitter.
